Yes please! I interviewed Ken twice many years ago and gave him my opus Crowley Scrapbook (still in print) to try to interest him in an AC movie (he’d worked with my movie PR cousin at Virgin). If he reads this, I’m doing an article on AC in film! Contact me!

Ken – you shine bright as a star, as a creative man, as a soul of integrity and love but also of hunger and joy ..Sir do this man justice and you do all the world justice , reintegrating him into our thinking as what he was..! Truly a force of nature , a full human, a man of power and courage .

Only a short? Too bad! Crowley’s life is so wild that any part of it could make a feature!

I agree. This film would be appreciated as a longer feature.

I hope it’s gonna be better than all other movies before. Uncle Al deserves it.

If tradition is followed, then this will be yet another portrayal of the filthy, subconscious mind of tabloid readers. It will have nothing whatsoever to do with the substance or life of an Edwardian philosopher poet. Perhaps that is all to the best. Controversy has meant AC is never out of print (in New York).

Ken Looks great but long ago when I was young I saw the Devils and knew that Oliver Reed directed by Ken would have been the perfect Crowley. Now that will never be.

Crowley really was a degenerate and a scumbag, but also a great poet and illuminist.

Crowley was a brilliant man but he was also a ego maniacal prick who purposefully tried to confuse people.

JC: there’s a dvd USA set, Ken Russell At The BBC. Sadly Strauss film not there prob cos music rights still nixed by outraged family. J Falgate: O Reed played AC in Ken’s radio play about Crowley. So sad KR just died.
